THE SUAREZ INCIDENT – GET A GRIP!
Lads, lads, will you please get a grip. I was watching the match. I saw Louis Suarez jump at the italian. I saw the endless repeats of the incident.
Yes, he bit someone’s shoulder.
No, he shouldn’t have done it.
Yes, there should be a sanction.
For all I know he’s as mad a cat in a washtub… but banned for life!!!
Are you deranged?
WHAT HARM, PRECISELY , DID HE INFLICT?
He inflicted a red mark on an Italian’s shoulder. BOO-HOO!
Did he draw blood? NO.
Did he cause injury? NO
Did the Italian need medical treatment? NO
I’ve seen a lot worse on an ordinary Saturday afternoon in the Premiership.
I’ve seen two footed tackles that caused serious injury.
I’ve seen legs torn open by studs-up tackle.
I’ve seen legs broken by tackles.
I’ve seen players stamping hard and deliberately on others.
I’ve seen players kick others in the ribs.
I’ve players lose consciousness from headbuts,
I’ve seen noses broken.
SO FOR CRYING OUT LOUD LADS, LEAVE SUAREZ ALONE AND
GET A GRIP!
I
Like you, I saw endless repeats of the incident, frame by frame; unlike you, I saw no bite – I saw Luiz heatbutt the guy and receive an elbow/shoulder to the face. What I do see is the media mobbing the guy to death, maybe as revenge for England’s abysmal performance at the WC, but most certainly to create a commercially viable headline. I’m no LFC or Suarez fan fan, I support ManUnited, but fair is fair, and in spite of his past ‘eating habits’ it is clear now that the English media has instigated a smear campaign against him.

With you all the way on the British Press I too am not a Liverpool fan, it’s Arsenal for me all the way but I do hate to see a gifted player being eaten alive without salt by the press.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I do believe that you need to write more about this
subject matter, it may not be a taboo subject but generally people do not speak about such issues.
To the next! Kind regards!!
