Haiku – ish
MAY.
1. CHESTNUT
Green fingered, she’s offering May’s creamy bounty
Candle of blossom.
2. ORIGINAL SIN
Olive skin .
Original Sin of dark-eyed boys
They urge us to fear.
3. HAWTHORN
A blackbird sings in the hedge,
Veiled in a tumble of bridal flowers.
4. JUNE WOODS
Fledgling on the path
Hops to hide in the grasses
Trees twitter alarm.
